Our frog exhibit is designed to showcase the numerous amphibian species that live in the Caribbean rainforest. The exhibit is divided into three sections:
Interactive and informational area: An area of interactive displays, designed in collaboration with INBio®, where visitors will learn about these incredible creatures.
Nocturnal frogs: Most frogs are nocturnal which makes observing them in their natural habitat difficult. The artificial night time environment created in our nocturnal frog exhibit allows visitors to watch and hear these fascinating creatures going about their normal lives rather than hiding or sleeping as they do during daylight hours.
Day-time frogs: See our collection of native frogs that are most active during daytime, including the red poison dart frog. These are the frogs that are most often seen moving freely around Veragua’s walking trails.
